CLICK~TRICK, 2022
A simple algorithm auto-generates zines using unique data from social media usernames. Each zine takes the form of a clickbait internet ad with an attention grabbing headline and modifier. The zine fully unfolds to reveal a poster of digitally collaged imagery from these online advertisements. The Wingdings font is used throughout the zine and poster to turn character based data (letters and numbers from usernames) into graphic iconography. These free custom zines were given out at Weird Corpus’ PaperCut Zine Fest 3.
